March 2021 - Present
I actively engage in lobbying efforts to garner support from federal and state representatives for measures addressing climate change, particularly advocating for the passage of the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act. Additionally, I participate in monthly meetings with fellow volunteers to discuss crucial action items. Furthermore, I consistently collaborate with the partner organization Environmental Voter Project to boost voter turnout among low-propensity environmental voters.
September 2015 - April 2017
I was elected as one of the representatives on the Engineering Student Government to help improve the student experience for the more than 10,000 engineers enrolled at the University of Michigan. This involved weekly meetings to discuss various issues including academic requirements, availability to mental health resources, and increased access to scholarship opportunities. By working with various faculty and student organizations, I was able to help enact realistic and meaningful projects to improve the daily life for fellow students.
